Big News~! Manga/Comics have become such an equation that you don't even need to draw it anymore~!

If you don't speak Japanese, they're basically saying that there's a new Windows program coming out in November/December that offers drag and drop manga, which could be created in minutes. The difference between this program and all the other clip art ones is that it offers 3D character models, which I'm sure you can tell just by watching their promotion videos (which also shows some of the sweatiest bitches you'll ever see in a comic). What's funny is that it works really well and looks like a lot of what's popular now. All of the page layouts are programed and you can download different outfits for your character.

Having said all these kinda negatives, I will say that in the black and white version they offer 3D models of backgrounds, including schools, which seemed pretty cool because I hate drawing desks (which I don't think I'll have to do for a while anyways/anymore). It's hard when I'm trying to love comics again and I see how easy it will be for more cliches to come out and how much harder it will be for up-and-comings to get work. But the good part about it is it offers a quick resource for reference material...(Pose Maniacs is free and lets you reference, not copy~!) Not to say that what I've done has always been great and original, or even wide spread or popular or good, it just feels like now the beast is mechanized, if that makes sense. Didn't expect to sound preachy there, especially when I have no right to complain, as I haven't even scanned or fully inked my new pages that I've done. I'll prolly delete this later~!

In spirit of my sudden bad judgment of organizing my entire house and finally get to painting my bathroom (while I'm working on a contest piece ><) I've decided to clean up my DevArt account~! I went in cold-blooded, but when I get to my really bad eye-sore pieces, I felt an odd feeling in my chest. I was told it was sentiment, and lost the balls to delete a lot of things. I'm still hard-core though~! I'm considering removing all of my comics stuff (what's left of it, anyways) from here and putting it up on a smackjeeves account and taking all of my "fine art" stuffs and putting it onto another site, too, which leaves this and all of my cleaning up irrelevant. Ooh! I think I just typed in something profound, and I can call this a performance piece echoing the irrelevancy of my art~! I'll just let my page views speak for that, haha~!

I'm absent from DevArt for a few months and they go and change everything~! I'm a born again newb at this site! While I was away my dad died, I was diagnosed with Lupus, and I decided to undertake swimming, which I'm not very good at. Lessons learned while gone: Old ladies use any chance they get to expose their titties to me. And the especially rotund old ladies, their coochies. Seriously, she was walking around with a bathing suit on but pulled the one piece down just to show me her impersonation of what an old, flap jack looking white eggplant would look like. Spoiler alert: Not attractive!! I wouldn't mind the nudity so much if it was something worth looking at, but instead all I get is an eyeful of nightmares. If I hadn't already paid for this I would SO not go anymore. Damn cheapness...

First thing I see when I log on today is that I have an icon, and it's from Twilight.

...I just puked a little.

I tried to change it and then I realized that it was 4-1... lolz...

After two long months of preparation, the convention's finally over and I can start work on my colored portfolio that I wanted to do~! I don't have one since I've been working in the black and white comics business, with little reason to color anything, orz~!

Though I enjoyed meeting lots of people, I must say that the germs geeks carry are too much for me to take, and I contracted nerd-fluenza. Had to miss most of the last day since I had a fever of about 101º, and I honestly think I got the fever from this non-stop headache I had since Friday, which made me a little grumpy. Ask your mom about it. I went to go say "good-bye" to some awesome people I met, Konota, Manbu and David, but the slackers weren't there for the hour that I was around, so I will say good-bye in spirit, and in the dirty dreams I will have of all three of them together, doing my bidding. Don't judge me.

Next year I think I'll do the Boston convention, I went to it for one day and it seemed small enough to enjoy and had stuff to do. The people were nicer and it was a more relaxed atmosphere, almost like what Otakon was like 10 years ago. Actually, all I remember was the cab driver telling me he liked my earrings and wanted to see me wearing nothing but, and I got a little freaked out and tipped him less than I normally would. I'm hard-core like that. I am working on a Naughty Stick Figure of my experiences there, and I might do it in color to practice coloring, so look out for it. To be honest, I was thinking recently about quitting comics and just working on other things, so I can't promise that I'll finish this one either, but they aren't drawn well ever, so I can't say it won't be made. And with that confusing sentence, I'm off~!
